About the Touwsrivier SE.ED Programmes
The SE.ED programmes are made up of skills and enterprise development programmes! The skills development programmes are geared at building technical skills and providing work-experience to improve the employability of participants in the short-term
and contribute towards the establishment of Touwsrivier as an industrial centre/hub in the long term.The Enterprise support and development programmes are geared at nurturing the development and growth of small businesses within the Touwsrivier community.
Programmes
The Experience Works programme places youth in reputable companies across South Africa for a period of a year in order to provide the participants with industry related work experience. Participants are also supported through development programmes such as work readiness training, computer literacy training, etc. to ensure they are best equipped to succeed in their work opportunities.

Eligibility:
A skills transfer programme that creates work opportunities for unemployed community members within established enterprises & organisations in the
local community.
Programme Duration: 12 - 24 months
Location: Breede Valley Municipality
Eligibility:
The SE.ED Bursary Fund provides comprehensive financial support to selected candidates to attend a 1 year course at a FET (TVET) college in the Western Cape.

Eligibility:
Enterprise 4 SA is an enterprise development programme aimed at supporting the growth and development of locally owned businesses. The programme pairs business owners with business consultants who provide individualised support for each businesses development challenges.

Enterprise Starter Pack is an enterprise development programme that assists youth with the entrepreneurship ideation process. The programme is designed to take participants from an idea to being able to register a viable business venture that is ready to be registered, while also providing necessary support in basic literacy and numeracy skills, to ensure the success of ventures in the long term.

Touwsrivier's loyalty rewards programme gives greater purchasing power to individuals employed through the SE.ED programmes who purchase goods and services from locally owned enterprises. For further details, please contact us.

Eligibility:
A green industrial zone is being established in Touwsrivier. This is being done by attracting established manufacturers through an incentives package which aids the employment of local community members. For further details, please contact us.
